Ice
Frosted platforms. Nothing to brake with, plenty of room to fall.
Pitlords
From the bottom, there's only one way.
You're not here by choice. Nobody here is. Down below: mud, rusted iron and somebody's bones.
Daylight up top. Between you and it: platforms, ice, fire and bad decisions.
The Pit doesn't like it when you leave. It rises after you, faster the longer the run goes. Fall behind and it drags you back. Nothing personal, that's just how things are down here.
Some stretches can't be climbed solo. Catch each other, carry each other, hang ropes. Or kick your teammate if they're dragging you down.
In solo, co-op mechanics are off and the level is built without them.
Biomes are shuffled. You never know what's waiting further up.
Frosted platforms. Nothing to brake with, plenty of room to fall.
Some platforms are burning. Jump for the end that isn't on fire.
It's only light right around you. The rest is guesswork. And candles, if you're lucky.
Everything ever thrown into the Pit comes down from above. Sometimes onto you.
Pit of the dayA new level every day, one for everyone. A fair comparison.
Your ghostYour best run climbs beside you. Beat yourself.
Season scoreThe height of your best run each day is added to your season score. The higher you climb every day, the higher you rank.
Hall of fameThe top ten of every past season stays on the board.
Over a hundred items: from a bucket for a hat to charred wings. Some are yours from the start, many unlock with achievements.
Your best ranked run of the day leaves your grave where it ended. Passing someone else's, you can light a candle.
For height, for the saved, for the shoved. For stupid deaths too.
Everyone watching your run glows as a pair of eyes in the dark of the Pit. Slip, and they all see it.
